- The minimum stay is two consecutive nights. Exceptions to this are as follows:
- December 1st – December 20Th minimum stay is 2 nights.
- December 21 – January 18Th minimum stay is 5 nights.
- January 19Th – March 31st minimum stay is 3 nights.
- Easter period, minimum stay is 4 nights.
- Public holiday weekends, minimum stay is 3 nights.
- A deposit of 50% of the total nights booked confirms the rental period, with the full outstanding balance, being due and payable 30 days prior to arrival.
- Security deposit required for all accomodation bookings:-$1000 for the Retreat and $1500 for renting both the Guest House and Retreat. Corporate bookings most likely the exception.
- Tetoki Retreat and surrounding properties have been owned by the same family for more than 30 years and is now controlled by a Family Trust:-there is no intention to ever sell the properties or business. Your deposits are safe and secure with us for any bookings that are booked a long way in advance. The properties are free hold and have no mortgage over them.
- The booking can be cancelled with no penalty if made within sixty (60) days from the date of this Confirmation.
- Bookings cancelled after the sixty (60) days outlined in Policy 4, will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit unless booked at a later date.
- Bookings cancelled within thirty (30) days of the start date of the rental period will forfeit the full deposit, unless the exact days are re-booked for a later date.
- There is no refund for early departure.
- Should events arise beyond the control of Te Toki Retreat, regarding the availability of this property, then any confirmed booking may be cancelled by Te Toki Retreat. All moneys paid as deposit shall be refunded in full, and the booking party shall have no further claims against Te Toki Retreat.
- Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am (early check in and late checkout available on application).
- Additional services include room servicing and clean up (costs on application)
- Rates quoted are inclusive of GST (12.5%) goods and services tax.
- Absolutely No smoking inside the property. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside.
- The booking party is not permitted to bring any stereo equipment or any other noise making device to the Retreat. (Small portable ipod speakers are ok) This includes Karaoke machines. Permission maybe granted but only well in advance of the booking date.
- A sophisticated sound system has been installed in the Retreat with 14 speakers all up or 24 if the marquee is hired. There are 6-8 outside speakers plus 6 more in the lower garden.
- Paying the deposit means the booking party agrees to the Policies of Te Toki Retreat.
- No parties are permitted at any time without strict application to the Owner/manager
